This is so great. Good to see “news people” so in-the-know.

Around this time (Jan. 1994) I DID have an email address (through college). Didn’t really have many people to email though. Also, I remember having AOL during that summer too. Good times.

(Incidentally, the earthquake they are talking about towards the end of the video was the 1994 Northridge quake. While it was going on, I was trapped in an airplane about to land in LAX for a connecting flight back to college from winter break. It was early morning. Still dark. Close enough to the ground to see fires broken out. Intense. Ended up landing in Salt Lake city instead.)

So in over 13 years of working in various office environments, I have come across my fair share of colleagues with bad breath. I know you have to. And as part of their dress code, the Swiss bank, UBS, wants to make sure their employees don’t commit this crime. There are many more comedic things in UBS’s dress code as highlighted by the New York Times and CNBC last month (e.g., guidelines/tips on makeup, hair coloring, dirty glasses, and underwear). May seem a little too much, but you gotta admire a company that has such a meticulous dress code and is trying to battle bad breath.

There’s some strange error when you save a post as “published” but IT DOES publish nonetheless. Still a little temperamental (something still a messed up with post date). Could be much better, but nice for quickly posting iPhone pics to your onomix.com blog.
